Why are Apache's so great?

:rofl::rofl::rofl: Now, that was funny:sifone:
OT.
now Mange how do you think a Farm boy from the states would manage himself over here with our Scandinavian gals...

And to Mr Saccenti and McCarthy
Great to read all the answers about the questions of what was the first Apache and how it rode. althought I think I´ve read it before the wide strakes were not B.S. favourite.

Yes we have some nice boats over:) The 41 Apache #57 has SSM6 to. I am not sure what power it has. The Hawk TopGun has SSM3 and 540's +700's.

Twistanna has 1.35:1 ratio.

Christer is the guy to the left on last picture

If I´m not mistaken Jimmy has 950´s on his 41, he´s a friend of a friend. The boat might also be up for sale.

Now almost all the well known stories and cool boats and their stories have been told here but howabout them Shady characters like what´s the story on Mark/Lucys Mercruiser Special and other "work-boats"... and then also a not a shady one but IMO a clean and nice racer The Predator, it´s "always" there at the top of the Game year to year it seems.

Those are the Apaches I have been thinking of not getting a lot of ink...or at least not the amount they deserve.

Apaches don´t believe in god.. they are spiritual.:seeya:
A) my point was that Apache powerboats are great because God loves us and wants us to be happy. You really want to debate that on this thread?

B) A quick check with a tribal spiritual leader says yeah, they do believe in "The Great Spirit."

I'm pretty sure the boat was a "work boat" before it became a pleasure boat. Mark has said something in the past. The joke is the singe engine hatch on the deck was to dump all the "snow" and "leaves" in. :sifone:
I know. I have too many hatches also.
I was hoping that the original poster would have something to go along with his insinuation. It would have been interesting to see how far he was willing to go. ;)

There's the new name of your boat!

Personally, I love hearing the stories of the old "work-boats".
I remember reading somethings about Mark/Lucy's boat.
Just some of the oddities of these old boats that had a "purpose" other than boating back in the day.

Me too. Was curious if he was gonna tell a story or just tease.

Heck, it could be one of those situations where they'd have to kill us if they told us!!! LOL :rofl:

But hey, this is what makes Apache, Apache and that's why there's so much craziness surrounding the name!

My boat even had a colorful past.... Nothing illegal but it seems every Apache has history, no matter when or who it was built by! :)

And this my friends.... bring us to "Why Apaches are so great."
You have your answer, Mr. Bartbert.
