Texoma BS

Damn that is one big boat.

Wow, pretty quiet in here. You all must be busy putting things together. I am.
Busy day in the Texoma Shop today. Fiberglass repair complete, new trailer under the BT Flat Deck, and started the dress on a 502/502 for my dads 57' Bel Air Wagon.

Why don't u schedule a trip to texoma. Be a good time. If u can't bring the bt, jump in with me. It's all good

haha, I just went through this thread! Ya'll are a crazy bunch.... Trip to Texoma sounds like a good time....... Hauling the boat from MN is a trip though.....

The 465's for the Velocity are torn down getting refreshed. They made 480 hp on the test dyno runs before the rebuild. Had a couple cylinders that we could have ran just a little weak on the leak down test so decided to rebuild while they were out, the Velocity will be good to go for the new owner shortly. Should be in the boat by the end of the week.

weekend progress report:

got drunk and screwed some hot chick... check

motors ready for paint... check

mission complete!

That is funny.

Sorry to highjack real quick but I need some help. Going to talk numbers with performance boat brokerage on that fountain. Now I know I pay taxes at the time of the purchase but do I have to pay taxes again to the Texas Parks and Wild Life when I register? I am thinking I just show them the bill of sale. I could probably read all this on their web site but what is the fun in that. My brother paid taxes to Texas Parks and Wild Life but it was purchased from and individual. What do you guys think.

The "compensator". Lol:smash:

You will not pay taxes at the time of sale. You WILL be provided with a bill of sale to take with you when you register the boat in your name and taxes will be due at that time. Going thru this right now for the second time in 12 months..... lol :cheers2:

Thanks, Rock on!
