That says OUCH on so many levels. My condolences. Its funny how the builder knew right where to put that sticker, funny how things work out. Karma is a b*&%h
Kick azz dude! BTW, with the small pulley on the top do you have any issues with blower belt dust? Few years ago I changed pulleys around so now my top pulley is smaller and it's putting off a lot of blower belt dust and pisses me off cause the engine room gets dirty quick.

Yes, I get a little bit of belt dust as well. It's a very slight amount, unless moisture somehow gets on it through the scoop, then it can make a mess. I always try to stay on top of wiping down the area after running it, since there's so much room in there. It really helps keep the belt dust, & oil vent drip from the dry sump canisters, from building up & looking all ghetto in there
Thanks, I try and do the same. Usually I can open up the hatch after a long run and everything looks spic and span but the moment you set foot in the bilge it's like anywhere you step you get black foot prints... Bothers the heck outta me... Let's just say there's lots of spray 9 on the boat!!!
I've tried replacing the belt a few times and that didn't help so this summer I'm going to reverse the idler pulley so the idler is on the outside of the belt pushing in, instead of the inside pushing out to see if that helps.

I know what you mean about your feet tracking dirt everywhere. I usually have a pair of ankle socks in the boat with my shoes, so I'll just wear them in there, and on the docks, which can be filthy as hell. If I don't have any socks, I'll slide around on a couple of Swipes or rags, which clean the floor and my feet. It works in a pinch.
Good luck with the switch on your idler pulley. Maybe it will at least throw the belt dust downward into the bilge, so you can flush it out easier with a hose & the bilge pump, rather than having to wipe EVERYTHING down after a hot day :ack2:.

Thats the best lookin set of triples I've seen in a long time, nothin a little youth and money won't do! With those on a boat I am not even sure you need any engines! Just float around and enjoy!
