Ft. Myers PR. Yesterday. Anybody run?

:)
I hear Bob the Builder was there.

Who owns the JAMMIN boat?

He, he. Yep, Bob was there. Jammin is owned by John M, from NJ and has a place at ft Myers Beach. i believe that boat can be bought. We had 15 great boats out even tho we had to move the run ahead a day to Friday with approaching weather. Our first run to Useppa Island which was very interesting. There were two others taking pictures as well and I will post links for theirs as well. Our next run is March 6th to Naples if there are any SOS in the area you are welcome to join us.
There were no new adventure stories created as a result of the run. LOL But we did have a heck of a lot of fun. :)
Bob

An old friend of the family was a guest on the Jammin boat, which is why I was asking.
His son sent me a link to some photos, and I saw a few pics of team Predator, and yourself Bob.

What's the deal with the boat with the horse on the side?

That is a new offshore brand called Stallion. A 41' I believe. I do not know anything about the boat or it's history but will find out. They were on their first FMO run as guests of club member Jeff Haylett.

Note : see post 10 below for some additional info on this boat.

I haven't seen that boat around.......Jupiter isn't that big and that boat would stand out for sure. I will have to keep and eye out for it.

With the horse theme they are probably from Jupiter Farms/Ranch Colony area out west, lots of horse people out there.

Any other pictures of that Renegade that made the run?

Here is another pic taken when they attended our New Years Day fun run. That is a sweet looking boat. It would be on my short list if I were in the market for a cc.

I was wrong about that boat being from Jupiter and have edited my previous post. I have just talked to Jeff Haylett and here is the deal. Stallion Powerboats are located in Green Bay, WI and this boat was hull number 1. Matter of fact when they did our FMO Useppa Island run, that was it's maiden voyage. The owner of this first boat has a place at Ft Myers Beach. They have a website at: www.stallionpowerboats.com however my computer was unable to open it. Not sure why.

Here are a couple shots from the run- one of Jammin' (can you spot your friend?) and a large version of the Stallion 41. I sat next to the owner at lunch and we talked a little about the boat. It was designed and built by the guy that builds MTI's for Randy. This one has 525's. My first response was something about being underpowered until he told me the boat only weighs 8400 lbs.

Thanks Jay!!
Yeah, that's him right in the center. Great guy. Did a bunch of work for him when I lived in Pittsburgh. Haven't tlked to him in a few years, but I keep up with his son still (his son is my age).

The Stallion boat is a nice looking boat, I like the vents on the side, reminds of Magnum. But I think the graphics need some work.

Great shots, as always Jay!
