Steve1 Political Rants

If they used the Monza hull by the looks of funds boat it was only the area from the chine down.I highly doubt they took a bad 26 foot hull and added 2 feet to it and than built all new hull sides on the plug.
While I don't have a great bow hull pic, having washed that dam thing a hundred times I can tell you that the entire bow is more stretched and gradual on mine, while the stern is similar. It's as if they had stretched the bow and reshaped it, rather than just stretched the stern and reshaped that, as we see so often.

It's close though. But how many "offshores" would be. Other than a lower freeboard, how much different would a 28 cig ss hull look? Would we see the hook? :)

The strakes on Funds boat are much smaller. The Monza had giant ones and this caused the boat to ride very hard.I doubt some one with their racing knowledge would duplicate the bad strakes also.

And yes Steve i do know the strakes are all the work. Just so many things that would have had to be changed that you would end up with the old saying of I have George Washingtons axe and it is all original except for the blade and the handle.

I agree I think you guys have lost your target audience with the little sidetrack i caused.

So Back to the name calling and arguing.

Yes but it is quicker for the way they worked to do it that way. @3 1/2 sheets of plywood a side.Do not forget the heavy layup in the Alache also.

And the balance would be much different with A) the apache is a resin bucket and B) the apache has twin bbcs and bravos, while the monza looks like a single bbc/trs, sbc/alpha or sbc/volvo 270 boat.

What the hell would that have to do with a boat 2 feet longer? Just asking you are the expert.

You, the guy who fronted like he knew something about my boat but got totally busted out of the gate by one member making one call to somebody who really did know, rather than somebody who was tossing boat design information around as freely as his twisted political rhetoric?

It would be two feet longer and heavier and more low slung in the back... to answer your dumb question.

WOW. You are even an enormous pr*ck when discussing boat design. I had assumed that it was just your over the line radical extremist political views. But nope, you are just adversarial.

Ok, ignore on. He can't be saved. Ban at will.

What a litle baby, No I was relaying what I heard about those clunkers,I grew up in So Florida now take your Girlie spell check and run off! Like I said I scrapped those molds as Unusable!

Maybe this will get us back on politics. I still want to know why, Steve, we must stay in Iraq at all costs but our growing deficits are of paramount concern. Why can't we pull out and save some of our money?

That would be a question for Obama as all common sense has left the building and unless I miss my guess it will be a bumpy ride over there, as the enemy senses weakness in leadership.

Translation: we should have an endless, expensive occupation? Deficits be damned?

This is the problem with the neo-cons. They live in a world where everyone else should sacrifice and they get all they want. And I you don't like it you're un-American.
