No Fuel Pressure

I last started my HP500's in November. Today they will not start. :(

When I turn on the key, I can hear and feel the two fuel pumps working, but my fuel pressure guage remains at zero.

I removed my two fuel water separators (they were full of fuel), primed two new fuel water separators and installed them. Still no fuel pressure.

I can understand why a fuel system failure would affect one of the engines, but I can't understand why both systems would fail at the same time.

Any ideas?

I doubt the fuel bowls dried up since Nov. so even without fuel pressure they should have fired on the fuel in the bowls. Check to make sure you haven't accidently pulled the kill switches.

Pull the fuel cap(s) loose. If your vents are clogged (spiders) it will create a vacuum, which will not only suck the fuel pumps dry, but also work against them pulling fuel back up. Are they EFI or carb motors?

Are they EFI or carb motors?

They are carb.

I made sure that the kill switches are in the "on" position.

I'm just not getting any fuel pressure. I will go back today and pull the fuel filler caps and check for any shutoff valves.

Thanks!

If the floats are stuck down it will pump fuel into the engine and show little or no pressure. Visually check to see if fuel is overflowing into the intake.

Did you try to start it? It may take a few moments to fill the bowls and show pressure.

Also, what is the air temp and do you have working chokes? But as Jim said, first thing to do is pull the flame arrestors and see if you have fuel at the carb.

crank it over,

Yes, I cranked the engine(s) for several seconds. They cranked smoothly, but never fired.

At first I suspected that the kill switches had malfunctioned, so I checked every electrical circuit I could find. That's when I noticed that the fuel pressure guage(s) were at zero.
