Hey Scott,

didnt realize you did trailer repairs, I need ya to look at something for me, trailer is almost new(2 years), and wearing one tire on the outside?? Where is your shop?

Rick

We are in North Miami, just South of Aventura.. Torsions??

No torsions, Leaf springs. 2008 EZ loader. marathon tires with the oil filled hubs, 4 wheel disc. It is a little short for the boat(21-23' trailer with 23'6" boat), but rated above the weight of the boat. I dont know what the deal is, last trailer(cheap miami built with no brakes or anything) with torsions did the same thing on the same wheel?? maybe its my driving, or my truck?? I checked the hub/bearings for tightness when it first started to happen, seemed OK, could it be a bent axle? I would think if it were just mounted crooked it would do the same but opposite on the other side??

RH turn curb victim... :)

Could be, I dont remember hitting anything, but there is a REAL tight left hand turn at the ramp I use, I may have "Pushed" that right front tire a time or 2. I have since found a better way of entering that ramp, but I believe the damage is done.

LOL, yeah that was my thought this AM, just been out of the office and unable to ask it.. Most common trailer "fault" out there..

I'd bet on the bent axle. There is a slight possibility it shifted it, but if so it "should" be wearing the other tire also...
