Anybody day drinkin today?

I am making plans.
Last night didnt work out. My six year old came down with a fever, the thirteen year old had eight friends over for a party. One of them set fire to a pile of leaves two feet from the house, of course nobody knows who did it, first thing I know is a burning leaf goes floating by the window.
Didnt find a cig butt or anything except a lighter stick was missing from my tool box.:cuss: Got that taken care of then find that all nine of them have taken my golf cart down the street with no lights working, so much weight on it that it left black streaks from the tires, had to chase them down.:cuss: They also had put their feet all over the brand new carbon fiber look dash I installed last W/E.
At that point I was ready to choke them all. Wife and a friend loaded them up and took them to see fireworks leaving me and feverish six year old to see in the new year.
Six year old is better today. So I intend to go visit my friends and neighbours at the offroad park campout.

It was 71 yesterday. Only 60's today still all good. Did a service call this morning. Took a short boat ride. Now cocktail time.

What started as a "small" group of friends, turned into 15 adults and 20+ High School age kids. Unbelievably, we had no major issues. The kids took over the downstairs and had a good time. Before I knew it, it was 3AM!

We rolled in sometime after 4am. Ouch. I got up early to check on the weather to decide if I'd be doing the NYD fun run with Beckley down to Sarasota, but it was raining. Weather said more rain on the way, so I went back to sleep. Woke up a little before noon...haven't done that in a LONG time, but damn it felt good. There will be no drinking for me today. Well, maybe just a few...
