Lets see your tow rigs

Here's my tow rig...and daily driver. I was a little unsure about the 24s until I saw them mounted on the truck...now I can't imagine having smaller wheels. I will be buying a more aggressive tire when these wear out though.

2008 F250 w/ 6.4 diesel. Love this truck. It rides like a dream (especially compared to my old 2001 F350 7.3 PSD), and tows like there's nothing back there.

What did you do about your low air pressure warnings or are the new tires E rated and carry 80psi?

Here is my rig. Very "OLD SCHOOL" but I have as much money in it as a new one. Don't ask me why!

because a fuel pump for your truck is $50, not $500 and you can change it yourself....because the front u joints are $100 installed not a whole hub assembly for $600 a side....because you dont need injectors that are $400 each and you need 8 of them and that doesnt include installation.....and because they dont cost $60,000 to start with and need $31,000 worth of warranty work in 2 yrs and leave on the side of the road twice and your not scared to actually take the thing out......

Something like that!!!:D I definatly like the fact that "I" can fix "anything" that could go wrong with it!!

what are you running for motor/tranny?

heres mine...'85 3/4 ton 4x4

Right now I am running a mildly modified 454 with a TH400 tranny. I am having another 454 built for it that should produce 600hp and 605 ft lbs of torque. The drive train has 6" lift, 35" BFG's, 1-ton rear diff., Dana 44 frt, 4:10 gears, 1-ton springs, dual Rancho adjustable shocks, Helwig HD sway bars frt & rear, air bags with on board compressor and urethane bushings. The list of crap I have bought for this thing is way too long. I started on the interior a few months back and it is about half way done. Here are a couple of pictures of what I have done so far.

Does your front end make crazy noise also? Mine does not do it on paved roads but on dirt it has some raddling and I think it may be the dust shield or something. I don't think it is linkages or anything. I just replaced most of those after I removed the lift kit a couple of years ago.

600/605......ha!...are U going to light up all 4 with the boat on the back?:)
I could have had a complete 2wd 3/4 ton with a low mile complete Ebrock Performer kit 454 and t400 , a running and driving truck for $1500 asking price..... I was going to swap the BB and trans in..... but then this alum head 406 falls in my lap $700 in the same week.....was a tough decision but I went with the 406, easier sbc to sbc conversion and I wouldnt have another truck in the drive....change cams and I should have about 450 ft/lbs.....but 605 whoa..did you do the BB conversion? does your A/C and all work ? can be a prob as the BB accesories are all different frm the SB from what I could see. D

Sounds like a sweet deal on that small block. Yes, I did the conversion and yes everything works. Even the cruise control. I did have to custom build one of the a/c compressor brackets but the rest was not that bad. One of the least fun projects was mounting the Autometer gauges in the dash to have the factory look. That was a PITA. I can't wait to drop the other motor in. According to the dyno it makes 532ft lbs of torque at 2000 rpm.
