Apache Free-for-all Thread

By the way Jack i will take my shots Face to Face with you, but to do that i have to get down on my knees

No one is more of a keyboard tuff guy than you and that is pretty damn funny

Mark, obviously we all know how deep the sarcasm is, with that comment you make from time to time...... I enjoy reading your posts about the "fellas", from back then. It damn sure sounds like a WILD group of friends

How did you originally become friends with the Apache gang, and more importantly Ben & Bobby? Had you guys been childhood buddies, school bro's, worked together?

Outside of the "business" he chose, or the obvious legal problems it created..... What kind of a guy was Ben? Was he a cool guy to hang around, or was he an ass-hole? What was his sense of humor like?

Obviously we can read, ask, or just find out for yourself about Bobby... all of which, is great stuff. There's surprisingly little info out there, that paints an illustration of Ben, in neither a good OR a bad way. He's every bit, if not the MOST interesting figure in the entire Apache saga.

I can tell from my experience that Benny is tough, smart, and definitely a larger-than-life figure. Even in the time warp of prison, he is very, very sharp and has incredible stories.
His focus,as it should be, is to get out. While he was no angel, he was definitely handed a a sentence that was excessive(my opinion) and he has taken one for the team,so to speak. MM said it well that he is a standup guy.
IMHO..I would take Benny any day as a back up...

Apache to Ben was his toy..I mean building boats and the boat business.
In his grand scheme of life, offshore was his passion and his recreation...not a way to make a living.
Apache was not a profit driven enterprise for him and most likely,he lost money..but, he loved the sport.
Benny made an indelible impression on me as did Billy Elswick..two enigmatic characters

Just my opinion...

Magnum Mark I still think you are one funny (dry humor) son of a gun

You remeber the dinner we had at some Italian place. It was myself, You, Lucy, Bobbie and the Clowns that owned Chief? (Cant belive i was wrapped up in that for a while)

was a fun night. Lots of great stories

ahh and then the drama continued LOL

Jack I am guessing that you think you own this thread now :boxing_smiley:

I am done sparing for the morning time to get somthing done productive

Need to change the name of this thread to

"My 7 minutes of fame - the Jack Leiske story"

Alternative name would be

“Other peoples money! I have no cash, but I’ll take the credit”

(by the way I am not sure how to spell his last name nor do i care)

An alternative could also be

A Complete Waste of Time on a Bullsh!t Topic with the sole intent of starting an argument
