Sorry for the confusion. I knew what I was thinking but didn't convey it properly. The future inlaws hunt; I don't. They beg me to go with them. I could show up 1/2 hour before the sun comes up, blast one in less than an hour and be home by breakfast is what they tell me; I'd rather sleep in. I have no desire to just sit in the woods.
They hunt black powder, bow and shotgun (no rifle in MD; only in western MD maybe/I think). They could fill that wall in less than a week if they wanted (and if it were legal). I only snapped that pic because of the "I love my Triton" sticker (he has a fish boat) but the wall is pretty full all the way around to the right. He saw 18 deer the day he shot the one in the pot this past Saturday and was out of the woods by 3PM. She saw 12 before plucking off the one with the horns touching (shotgun season 2-3 weeks ago) and was out of the woods by Noon.
They donate all the meat to feed the homeless but every so often will get some tenderloins or jerky made.
LOL @ Cuda! A cook can f up beef and it still be eatable; venison you have to know what you are doing to make it taste good. Bad venison is worse than liver (which I hate); good venison is better than beef but not as good as bison IMHO.
