Colonoscopy

I had dbl hernia surgery 2 years ago. No question the worst pain I've ever felt. They used the mesh. Seems to working fine. I did get cabin fever after a week of resting though and went out and blew it out one night and wound up taking this vietnamese chick home. BAD IDEA. Back to rest for a week after that.

I guess I'm getting close to one of these exams. They say 40 is the age huh?
:rofl::rofl: fricken vietnamese chick :rofl::rofl: and i thought it was at an older age to have the exam unless its changed

LOL. She was hottt. Ask Steve. I was staying at his house to recover and he came home about 3 am to learn his dining room table was being used :sifone:

Hey Robert,

My advice ...

#1) Ask for some Versed. If the doc gives you the right amount of this, you won't remember a thing.

#2) After the procedure, ask the doc for a note to take home to the wife confirming that your head is really not up there.

On a serious note:

A few years ago, I lost my step-father to a botched colonoscopy. He arrested in the recovery room. The surgeon failed to recognize and treat a complication of the precedure ... perforation of the bowel. This is an immediate surgical emergency that needs to go directly to the OR to repair. This was not done in my step-fathers case and I had to take him off the ventilator later that night.

Make sure you discuss this possible complications with the doc before the procedure and make sure they are competent to recognize and treat these complications before you give consent. Feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Some people when put under, just never wake up. When I've ever had to be put under, I wanted to meet the anestisiologist (sp?). He's in charge of keeping you alive.
