Same here. I haven't touched a christmas light, tree, or ornament in 10 years. It's not for me.
I gave up on Christmas, I have no use for it.

I had an outlet like that installed on my last house. It was connected to a switch inside. A bug zapper huge there most of the year, but the Christmas light were connected during this time of year.

Ya just gotta think ahead!
