Subject: NPR Poll about Fox News





If you haven't heard this, the White House is accusing Fox News of not being a legitimate source of news, calling them biased, etc. They have tried to block Fox reporters from news conferences, etc., but the other news networks are fighting back (in favor of Fox) and caused the White House to back down. NPR has put a survey online for us to voice our opinion. If you want to vote in this survey, go to the link below and cast your vote. Let's show them how we feel about honest conservative news reporting.

The poll is biased. Most would agree that Fox news is not "fair and balanced", but I don't want to censor their opinons.

While I disagree with almost everything Fox News has to say, I defend their right to say it.

exactly! They all come across as a bunch of clowns. Have you ever tried to watch Glen Beck. Jesus chrsit I can't get thru 2 mins of that azzhat. It's not that I don't like what he says, it's his delivery and antics and bad jokes. I don't even listen to him. tool
 
I agree guys but aren't the mainstream (and NPR) media pretty biased too?

Fox is Rupert Murdoch, everywhere I have travelled in the world, people can be found complaining about the bias of his papers and tv stations.

In a 2008 interview with Walt Mossberg, Murdoch was asked whether he had "anything to do with the New York Post's endorsement of Barack Obama in the democratic primaries." Without hesitating, Murdoch replied, "Yeah. He is a rock star. It's fantastic. I love what he is saying about education. I don't think he will win Florida... but he will win in Ohio and the election. I am anxious to meet him. I want to see if he will walk the walk."[24][25]
 
Wobble, Wikipedia has been corrupted by the socialists too. The people modifying and moderating that site most certainly have an agenda;

Sorry to point that out, besides, regardless of the bias of Murdoch and Fox, Fox is about being the counterbalance to CBS, NBC and MSNBC.

Glenn Beck reminds me of a TV evangelist. :eek:

I'm not sure if he believes everything he says, but he sure can motivate a mob of people to send him money! :p

Public and government grant funded NPR biased ?- Oh come on surely they cant be.......

The Whitehouse cant just "shut out" the guys they dont like hearing from. That's simply illegal, and they are going to have to take it like big boys and suck it up. Tough ****.

All the networks are so biased one way or the other its a joke, and almost all "news" is nothing more than entertainment shows and journals of opinion.

As far as Fox goes

Hannity is a clown Im done after 5 minutes
Beck is douche -cant stand the acting
Van Sustren -is only average

OReilley I like -it takes balls to invite his biggest attackers on his show to face him personally. He also faced down letterman, and

I say Dennis Miller should be president.

Exactly...this is basic freedom of speech vs censorship.

Like most netwotks they have news programs that while right leaning, report the news. These networks also have on-air personalities that editorialize, some may say sensationalize issues...I don't know of anyone who considers those type of programs "news", but to attack the network is pointless. Fox will always have the last word...

people are acting like fox is the only news station that has its own opinion and agenda. every news station on tv even liberal media is biased, just when its conservative its a bad thing. if its liberal like the rest of the stations, no one will say anything.
 
My dad is addicted to Fox. We actually told his dr about it b/c he gets so worked up. It's funny but not really. What a crock. That goes for any and all news. I like watching Dennis Miller commentary and I like John Stewarts stuff b/c it's funny. Also Colbert.

Anyone who believes they can change anything or are actually a part of some democratic system is just playing the fool. There are a couple dozen individuals who run the world. And i don't have a problem with that.

I'm just trying to make a few billion then I can play in their sandbox too
 
Wow! Less conservatives on here than I thought. I couldn't tell you the last time I watched any "news" on any network other than Fox. As far as "Fair and Balanced", they have way too many liberal guests than I care for. We get the leftist **** shoved down our throat every day from government. I'd be happy to see a network that is all conservative all the time. I'll just keep watching ESPN and The Food Network, I guess.

This is my first post and it's to say I'm a conservative.
I'm a fan of Fox news but need to point out that Beck, Hannity, ect.. are opinion shows that are on the right. The majority of fox programming is general news coverage and fairly balanced.
MSNBC has it's opinion shows aka - Olberman, Maddow, Matthews that are on the left and I don't hear the White House complaining about them?
We have never seen a administration do this to a news media since Nixon and we all know how that turned out.
Just my thoughts - Support your First amendment! Freedom of Speech!
