What's the least expensive way to fly into the Keys from Detroit for the Worlds?

I found flights out of Detroit into Key West for $375 but that was a few weeks ago may not be that cheap at this point. Outside of that Miami and drive the rest is the way to go. Actually not a bad drive either.
You can also save a few bucks by finding a bunch of chicks to split a condo with . . . . :leaving:

Southwest from the "D" to Ft. Lauderdal then rent a car and drive to Key West.

Yup! Southwest is 9 out of 10 times cheaper than anyone else. Plus you don't pay for bags under 50 lbs.

That's what we are doing, going on the first flight out on Tuesday morning, at 6 am non stop to Lauderdale,and returning about 4 PM on Monday. I booked two one way rentals with no drop off charges from Alamo, $51.57 at Ft Lauderdale and $46.76 at Key West, that was using a GM discount for a mid size car.
It would be funny to finally meet you for the first time in Key West, since we live in the same town and you have driven by our house

4 + , it would be easier to take the ferry from Ft.Myers to KW and it is a nice cruise

I have driven by your house ok....I am at a loss at the moment but things are easily confused in these days of my old age!!!!
