So this guy who claims to be a Donzi dealer in CA comes on FB and starts friending everyone then starts spamming everyone with offers. Turns out the guy has no boats in stocka and currently owns a Hunter sailboat. Plain and simple, the guy is a tool.

Frank Civitano and some others ask him why he is marketing a used 2007 boat as a new 2009 demo and he cant explain. Then I ask what boats he has in stock and throws me off the the site.

This guys a scam and needs to be taught a lesson.

Exactly the reason I don't friend anyone unless I know them personally!

Also, the updates (spam) from all the organizations and other dealers can get annoying at times. It's bad enough I get it sent to my home email (this is usually by choice), sometimes work, here on SO, OSO, Boatfreaks and probably a few other places I forgot to mention... It's the same messages to multiple places, over and over again....

Sometimes I get the messages and see the posts at all the places listed above then some friends from FB post the same thing in their profile update and the saga continues...

FB name Donzi Marine Speedboats is actually Peter Tsepeleff from John Beery Yachts.
If you take a look at the 30 or so of us that are common friends on his page, I'm pretty sure we are all there because we thought it was a Donzi Performance site, not some douchebag's sailing brokerage in San Francisco......

Here is Peter's "performance boat pedigree" Peter has been sailing and boating in Bay Area since high school and for the past ten years has owned a 34 foot Hunter Sailboat which is docked at Marina Village in Alameda. He is a member of the Encinal Yacht Club and has sailed most of the Bay and Delta. He is familiar with all the Yacht Clubs in the area. Let Peter and John Beery Yachts take care of all of your boating and marine requirements

Facebook was neat....for about two months after I signed up. We're getting ready to have our 30th HS reunion....so everyone has joined up. It's been neat to see what all of my old friends have been up to, but it's also been a reminder of why I don't hang out with alot of them anymore!!

Also, if a woman is halfway crazy, FB will put 'em over the edge. How could anyone think that ANYONE gives two chits about what phucking color they would be if they were a color?????:cuss::reddevil::sifone: Or the people who post what they're doing all day. Maybe I'm just a ***** or am getting old, but I just don't care if you're heading out to the grocery store!!!!

I mostly just use it now to see photos of my nieces and nephews. It makes it alot easier for my family peeps to just post them on there instaed of emailing pictures!!

The bottom line is that I have all of my friends phone numbers. If I want (or need) to talk to them...it's easier to just call them!!!

In regards to the douchebag ragflapper that's trying to sell a used Donzi as new, good luck to him. Give him Dreamers number, maybe they can work out a great deal!!!!:sifone::rofl:

That is epicly hiliarious! Many people I know are on facebook (I thought DB's "FB" was another boat site!) but I'm nowhere near that nonsense! I remember why I stopped talking to most of those people in the first place.
