Warpath!

What boat is this???

It was parked next to my boat at Bay 100, it is a 41 Apache, that was called Ultimate Warrior Returns, he used to keep it at Indian River Marina, back in the day, I used to drool over that boat when I was a kid!!! this is what was on one side of the boat.

I know this sounds like a dumb question, but who came up with these boat names and the colors for the paint jobs Gail? Was the boat owner the one that said I want my boat to be called XXX and these are the colors I like and Gail go from there? Or, were you given a blank canvas to work with? I just love some of these boat names!

the dumb questions are the ones are not asked! very good question!! where is Gail!! we want to hear your stories:bigear:

Here is my guess Lucy, there was a 24 or a 28 made a while back, that had someone from Apache involved/sort of... it was never really clear whether it was an Apache or not. I think it was called Cherokee or something along that line. i remember a red hull with lots of artwork, dont think it was gails.

If indeed it's a Cherokee it could have been Eric Froberg. Eric was Bobby's partner back in the day and he built a few Cherokee's. All on the up-and-up from what I recall.

You've done well grasshopper! :)

Here is a picture from earlier that day. Bob is my "OldSchool" Idol!! The Cig was running a little warm on one engine, so he ran it home and broke out the Apache!! He's been in the game for a while!!:)

That same guy owns both boats? Lucky guy! That Cig ran awesome in Cambridge.

I have another dumb question.

I am sorry to say Gail is not the person who painted The Chief. There is someone by the name of Barbara (last name escapes me) who painted it.

How difficult are these to restore with paint delam on the water line?
