Here's a short video running home from NYC between the Verrazano Narrows to Sandy Hook.
It's hard to tell with the wide angle but we were running in some decent chop, mostly 60-65 mph. There's a little air about 1:50 in and running 75 @ 3 minutes and again at 3:30.
I don't think it has a jack because it's in a waterproof case that can go down up to 100 ft but it does have a high/low sound setting and you can also remove the waterproof lense to get more sound in. I'm not sure which setting I have it on but when I had it on the transom a few weeks ago you could hear the engines, although I think it was probably a little too loud and broke up the sound a little.
