To be quite frank, when Boatfreaks started up, I felt their owner's attitudes towards OSO would be their downfall. I was one of the people that helped to make OSO what it was- as are most of the people on here now. To me, saying bad things about OSO was saying bad things about me.

We are what we are. If people like it here, that's great. If they prefer other places, who am I to tell them they're wrong. I do invite folks I know to stop in and check the place out, but I do it privately.

Damn...I didn't mean to pizz in anyones cornflakes! for me as well as probably a few, things are bad, and they are going to get worse (I'm wondering how I'm going to keep the heat on this winter) this is one of the places I go t get away from it. with the problems as of late and then this new uber moderator poofing things, rebelion comes to mind, thats how this country was formed. I have nothing against OSO, if I did I wouldnt come on everyday. The new managment sucks though. we asked politely, we had patience, things are getting worse. Do we sit behind the keyboard and take it? or do we have a boston tea party and make enough noise that IB finally pays attention?

Let OSO be OSO, and let people decide where they want to be.
I'm still checking over there - might as well, the membership is still payed.
I'm really only looking into the downward spiral of LDD, and some of the threads that have been dredged up, and the Pantera section just because.

I don't disagree with anything you have said, however "the best revenge is to live well"..We have a new home and people will see this and come on their own, we have the makings and the people to start our own history. If and when oso goes by the wayside, it will be from people just leaving because they found better content elsewhere. The only way that we as members here can expect someone to venture to here, isn't by acting the fools there.
