The operation of this place takes a lot of work by a lot of people.

But sometimes some people go above and beyond. Behind the scenes Paul Rose spends hundreds of hours a month to make sure SOS provides us all with the enjoyment we all get out of being here.

To wave the flag he took it upon himself to actually step away from the computor and personally participate in "The Love of The Sport'
He went and got all the requisit safety accreditations and went racing.

First time in a Bat Boat and our friend goes racing!!

Takes huge balls and for that he and his dear wife that went along with it all should be congratulated.
He has told me that he didnt do it without a lot of help from some good folks that made sure he was safe and got as much enjoyment out of it as possible, so on behalf of all of us at SOS we thank you for making sure he came back in one piece to tell us all about the experience.

This is what this place is all about, comraderie and teamwork.

In that vein , when I asked our great friend Jeff from Freeze Frame to put something together for me, I had it on my computor immediately.

Tell me the picture following this post doesnt say it all for Pauls 100% effort.

Thank you Paul for waving our flag.

SERIOUSLY OUR HERO

Ditto to all of the above. In addition, he is just an all round good guy who I had the pleasure of meeting in Key West last year. Way to go, Paul !! We really do appreciate what you are doing for our sport.

Very cool. Great job Paul, you did us proud. Look forward to meeting you sooner rather than later. Hey, why don't you come down for the National Championships!? Cambridge is great for the Bat boats.
