Well, I'm a Lefty. I want my left hand on the wheel and the right on the throttles. I can tell you, most people prefer the sticks on the right, even righties, from what I've observed. I would venture to guess that would be better for re-sale too.

Just my .02

I understand that, but this shifter in particular seems more suitable for a left hand setup IMO. When I purchased it I was told it was for a right hand setup, I'm beginning to wonder... Thought on that? Thanks!

Looks like a right hand to me - but don't take my word for it! See who else chimes in. I'm sure several will.

Nice controls, I think I know the guy that sold them to you :D Those are for a right hand application. The trim switch is on the inside of the shifter for thumb use. The sticks can be configured to be in whatever order you want them in when ordered but that will not define whether it is a left or right, typically it is the trim switch.

Any ideas how to get the trim switch out so I can reconfigure?

Ohh, Brian! Yes, I got them from you!

That's a right hand setup.

Don't you want to control the trim switch with your thumb? If so that control is for your left hand.

To switch sides of the trim switch might be possible if it's not molded. Switching place of the shifter end throttle should be no biggie!
