Here's an e mail I got today. Straight forward and to the point.
"I beg your indulgence to please read my message.
My name is kenneth rashid, which means Guided by God in my native Swahili. I am a Kenyan student here in Malaysia.
My father has been unable to send money to me because his business has suffered greatly due to his illness. He is highly diabetic with high blood pressure. My mother has also developed high blood pressure due to the stress.
I am not a lazy person, far from that, but due to my student visa, I am unable to work here in Malaysia while I school. I have just two semesters to complete my 3 year course.
If I am unable to complete my two semesters remaining, my work for the past three years would be in vain.
My message is hence an urgent plea to you, to assist me with hundred dollars. I have to resort to this act as a last resort. I beg you, to find it in your self to assist me; no amount will be too small at this stage.
Please kindly send the money through western union to me as receiver, ken rashid.
I hope to hear positively from you soonest.
