Merc 700's NXT package??????

They apparently run about 105 +/- in a bunch of V's

39 Cig
37 AT
39/427 Nor-Tech
38 Donzi ZR
42 Outerlimits
38 Powerplay

99 - 43 F4 Sunsation
97 - 382 Formula
110 - 39 Hustler Rockit

I lost a transmission last weekend in mine. Scrambling to get parts and get it repaired before Emerald Coast

My buddy's on his 3rd season with his and they've seemed to be pretty bullet-proof. All I know is that we ran the p*ss out of them at the Cumberland run in '07 and they have held up fine. Great package, IMO...

game on!!! but in all "SERIOUS" ness, I thought I have heard from day 1 of that boat/ engines High 90's, maybe touch a hundie go'n downwind???

Hull #2 (was first boat built with 700's) hit 99 but was a fully loaded rig. Wayne's green boat is more of a poker run edition, less amenities and slightly lighter so it runs a little quicker. Plus Wayne likes to tweak things for speed so expect no less out of his boat.......1075 boat ran 125+

How would that make a difference, is it because they are coming out of the water more?

Honestly I am not sure. I am just stating what I have seen from my friends boats. Also as stated, you have to watch the headers. Typhoon has installed drains on alot of our boats to get the water out of the headers so it doesn't lay up in them and possibly leak back.

Which 38 PowerPlay?? Any Pics??

Only one exists with Merc 700's. The No Life Like It boat has Cobra 750's.

The Merc 700 boat was rigged by an out west custom boat builder and is flawless. The factory 525's only had 60 hours on them since new when the owner repowered. It is a solid navy hull with white deck. Identical build to the sunk black hull boat. The original owners are buddies so the boats were built almost identical. Boat is running right at 100 but they are still playing with props to tweak the last few mphs out of it. It is primarily run on Lake Mead (Nevada)
