Here's something new. Starting this week, we'll be doing a "Post of the Week" contest. You'll be able to nominate your favorite post of that week and at the end of the week, everyone will vote for their favorite. The person nominating the post wins a prize, the person quoted wins a prize and one random voter wins a prize.
Our POTW moderators are Ratickle, TSPM and Expensive Date.
These are the contest rules:
1. A first “Post of the Week” thread will be started this Monday evening. After this first thread, a new thread will be entered every Sunday and the existing thread closed.
2. The winner will be announced, and their name and prize, will be at the top of the new thread.
3. One winner, and one randomly selected submitter, will receive prizes, as well as the person nominating that post.
4. All members and all quotes, with the exception of our three judges, will be eligible. Members can either cut-n-paste or quote a post they’d like to nominate.
5. At the end of the week, the judges will select the “Final Four” which will be eligible for membership voting and the winner will receive their prize package from our Serious Offshore supporters.
6. There will always be two threads open, one for submissions, one for voting. Both will run for an approximate week.
7. This is a “PG” contest focused towards the interests of adults. Don’t submit a Quote for consideration if it has a hard “R”, “XX”, or “Racial” overtones.
8. One nomination per person, per week.
