Not really...it's just a PITA job...and they're never accurate anyway and don't last very long most of the time.
When ever someone asks me to do a trim sender job I try and convince them to add mechanical gauges.
Whenever I did do them I usually sold the person on a transom assy re-fresh including new bellows, shift cable, gimbal bearing and even new bushings. If most of it's coming apart it saves them even though the price is higher. Most of the time they would see that quote and decide they don't need operating trim senders! LOL
