Dustin at Whipple Ind. told me the only difference is the cam and ECM's, he has a kit for about $2,500.00 per motor to make them 1075's.

That's right. The same as the difference in the 1075 and 1200.

What's the 850, 1075 and 1200's? w or w/o drives doesn't matter- just specify if they come w w/o drives and/or 6, dry 6 etc?

Ok, just going by what I thought I read in another post. Your #'s seem more like it.

The difference????????????? Regardless what Mercury charges between the two is one thing, but the boat manufacturer charges a lot more.

buy the 850's, upgrade for 2,500 to get 225 ponies, add race fuel and bump to 1400+ hp. I know there are some 1200's out there making over 1400hp, very cheap hp upgrade, anybody got any 850's for sale?
