Great time was had by all. Some cool boats. Had some breakdowns. Erie was sort of sloppy in the morning, but was a little flatter in the afternoon.

A 36 Apache, an Outerlimits, and a Fountain. Brace Yourself's 46 Rough Rider "American Muscle"

Whoops, Chris got in my shot. :D

The yellow Baja was a cool boat. Adam did an awesome job on it. Twin 377s and awesome workmanship. Thanks for the ride on that boat. Great balance, great performance. I never had anything against Baja, but this boat was freaking impressive. And that was after spending the day on The Chief.

The silver 36 Cig was jaw-droppingly amazing. I couldn't stop watching it. We talked about it while we were milling before the run and wonder how fast with all that weight. We had our answer when we were well into the run and the only two boats in our little group were the 36 Apache and the 36 Cig. Too bad that the Boatpix chopper didn't roll video on those three boats running together in the slop. A 41 Apache, a 36 Apache and a 36 Cig. We stayed together for miles.

Check out these two pics. In the first, this Hustler is in the front, in the corner and bow in. He had 38 feet of boat and 38 feet 1 inch to work with and he did it. Second pic.... no problem. Afterward, he turned to the crowd and raised his arms and the crowd cheered. :D

This guy had a little Captain in him, I think. I am sorry that I don't have a photo with me and this fantastic boat. Yellow windshield. We didn't see Big Bird anywhere, but we were watching in case he came back. :)

I never knew that Fountain made a boat with the deck from a sonic or a coyote, but there it is. :)

A guy bought a bunch of shots. I don't know what was in them, but I know that I was handed several. It is rude to refuse. :D Notice the Serious Offshore apparel.
There is a shirt from some other forum on the chair. ;)

Then, back in the parking lot of Lyman Harbor I found that someone had left some boxes in my trunk. Imagine my surprise when I found that they were AFR heads with Inconnel valves done by Marine Kinetics just for me!! And custom ground split-duration cams, too? Wow. THAT is a great day.

Wish you had been there Tracy. You would have known many of the folks. You should come next year.

I should give the real name, which I believe is the Sandusky Bay Pirate Run.
