From yahoo regarding Rose Engine Service:

I took my Subaru to Rose Engine to have the timing belt as well as the engine valves replaced in late August of 2006. The cost amounted to nearly $1,700. Things looked fine until my car engine light came on after driving less than 8 miles!!!! I went back to Rose, and Paul, the owner, told us that the car engine light came on because the car needed a resetting that only the Subaru dealer can perform. I took my car to the dealer who said that there was a code for misfire on cylinder 2. Because I still had our 'supposed' 30 days labor guarantee at Rose, I took it back to Rose. Paul the owner of Rose Engine said that everything they did was fine and that it's something 'so small that even the dealer won't be able to find.' Paul refused to do fix the problem after we repeatedly asked them to do so. Also, Paul said that it's going to cost about $1,000 for other people to look at it. The truth is Roses just didn't want to take apart of the engine again to fix their mistakes. I took my car to the Subaru dealer and they found out that the valve was leaking due to improper sealing as a result of the job that Rose Engine mechanics did. Additionally, they LOST a large piece of plastic cover for my car's engine. When I called Rose to asked for it, Paul became extremely DEFENSIVE and said that they throw away everything at the end of EVERY Friday. Then Paul continues by telling me that this is the answer that he's going to tell me if I asked him fifty times! For those of you who decide to go to Rose, I would recommend going elsewhere. Do not be fooled! If you want your cars fixed PROPERLY, do NOT use Rose. If you use Rose Engine Service, you will REGRET it!!

And this is the bad part.. there shouln't be a reason to get anyone..
But..

It's just so sad that the current society sux.

I don’t mind disagreements and opinions and politics.. religion or whatever.. But I always thought and believed that any conflict and disagreements can be resolve with mutual cooperation and effort.
LDD issue.. Joker issue. Trick Marine issue,… Tow Boat issue and on and on…
We read a bunch of them, and I have some unfinished issues with this a$$hole, with Cobra Power, with Dennis Freedman and with and Joseph Sabo, (on OSO) They all have some integrity and honesty issues. Lack of.
Bunch of you guys here are exceptions. Glad to see some integrity around and we at SOS needs to keep it that way. Disagreements,, opinions… fine.. mutual respect and understanding can get things resolved.
It’s sad that I have to get my kids prepaired for the worse in this times and age.

I just sold some hubs to a guy, I sent it and sent him a note that I could not find one of the “new hubs” and I sent a used one. Before he got them, before he seen them.. before he had any issues, I told him. $50 no big deal... Honesty is my policy. But.. Chris is right.. being nice doesn’t pay.
But I tell you one thing. I sleep all night. And I do wonder how come some other get any rest with their BS.
I run two companies, and in trouble right now.. but I still won’t screw my clients and friend, nor any stranger that I have business with.
If I could have a wish in the world I wish that honesty and integrity would come back .. everywhere. It would be a great place and time to live. Now. !!! ?/ I feel sorry for the next generation and my kids.

Paradox, don't give up on all of us, there's bad apples in every bunch.....he'll get his............don't let this instance ruin your life worrying about it too much........some guys are just scum...........focus on your health....there will be better days............

where is he located? maybe one of our lawyer SOS buds can file a small claims suit for you in his jurisdiction, I have done that for friends when they have been screwed unjustly....for me, its just a small stop while I am otherwise at the courthouse....no biggie, I hate this kind of chit being done by scammers and getting away with it............

THanks Donz.. I'm not going to worry about it to much, but it is frustrating.
The guy should have called me or contacted me long ago if there was an issue. But I know the hubs were not included within his shipment. I have several sets.
His info is in post No. 4.
It's just sad what some people do and their attitude.

I'm working on my heath stuff.. thanks.. After Dec. 9th (surgery) I have a few months of rehab etc.. then I can get all my BS in order.
I always forgive, but never forget.

I'm full-blooded Hungarian. My dad's from Budapest, mom's from Debrecen. Erin and I got married in Budapest.
 
Man Peter when will people quit trying to screw you!!!

Peter and I have done a few transactions and he was in contact/easy to contact and did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it each and every step of the way!
