Another "feel good viral video of the year" nominee--just for Chris & Nick:

Good grief!...
Ya, he may have over-reacted a little. But we know what they say, don't argue with the law. Don't taze me, bro!

Are ya frigg'n kid'n me. That big burley he man cop didn't think he could over power her enough to put on the cuffs. Talk about a power trip!!
What they don't show on tape is what kind of BS lead up grandma finally deciding she wasn't gonna put up with his crap anymore.

I was just wondering....... when a hairdryer blew up in my hand, it thru sparks and hurt like hell (left a black mark for 2 weeks). Q; is it actually possible, after being tazed, to put your hands behind your back as quickly as the cop demanded?
How long did it take the officers being trained, to put Their hands behind their backs?

this was on GMA this morn!!

What did they have to say about it?

Never mind, just watched it. Nice editing. That was a pretty good shove for just try'n to keep her out of traffic considering he was standing left of the White line, not her. Doesn't look like that cop handles pressure to well. What would he have done before the days of tasers.....shoot her. Like how the good ol boy sheriff starts defending his boy.

Grandma better hire Frankies attorney:biggrinjester:

I have no problem with this...she got what she deserved.

+1 Either listen to the police or face the consequences. It's not that hard- people do it every day.

I have no fear of being tazed- cop tells me to stop or he is going to taze me there is almost a 100% chance I'm going to stop.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not defending grandma, but the cop could've handled himself a lot better. He didn't have very good control of the situation. Instead of keep'n his cool, he got all worked up and that just esculated things.

I agree that she got what she deserved. If he WOULD have laid a hand on her in an effort to restrain her, she likely could have injured her i.e. broken bone, harsh fall, etc. etc. He tazed her, and that immobilized her even though she did fall to the ground. This action 1) showed he meant business & 2) took care of business in the safest and most efficient means possible.
I commend the Cop.
