That's a nice picture. Only 4 more to go, all while hoping we don't extend the lead. :sifone:
I am getting ready to move from Chicago to Orlando and been looking for best options for boating - Daytona, Clearwater, Jacksonville etc. Looks like Jacksonville has pretty active group. I'm hoping to drive up to Jacksoville Saturday the 6th to see the area and maybe catch the beginning of the run. Can you advise me on where launches are, best place to see beginning of run and any restaurant/bars on the water that might be worth checking out.
Also, are there any dry stacks in Jax for a 35' Formula?

the jacksonville landing is the starting and ending for the run, plus all the party activities will be there. there are a couple of places such as the outback crabshack, that will be where most everyone will stop for lunch. there are card stops up and down the river,if you go to the site for the run it tells you everything about the run. the run kicks off at 10 am, the boats will start to pull away at about 9:30 am from the landing and head south down the river. as far as dry stacks it all depends where you want to be on the water. i am at beach marine at jax beach, i can go north to fernidina, south to st. augustine or daytona, out to the ocean, or to the st john's river. welcome to florida.

call me when you get in or if you need anything. jackie got my slip at metro park. ran the route to palatka last week, great run. used 130 gals of fuel, from the beach and back, about 160 -170 mile roundtrip. you going to panama city run the follwing week, we are going, reno is out of school so he will be with us on the runs for the rest of the summer. see ya soon!
