Definitely a nice price. Like Chris said Mat'l is so freaking high now days, the guy must work for free. I figure it is gonna cost me more than that to paint my boat and I will be doing it myself. How does it look in person, and what did he spray it with?
The painter WAY underestimated the job. He used 2 gallons of primer, 2 1/2 gallons color and 2 gallons clear. He says he figures he made about $2 / hour to do this job. His brother is a rep for PPG, so maybe, just maybe some materials were for "demo" purposes ...
Boat looks good!
I need to get mine done soon.
I still have a lot of prep work that I want to do.
What did he use?
Just wondering how it's going to hold up - and I don't mean that to be negative.
I yanked my entire windshield, and removed glass, and planning on PC for all aluminum hardware on the boat.
I don't want to have to do it again in 2-3 years.
