Of course we all want to get into the water, but half the fun is having the boat in the driveway for a week or so, so I can clean, wax, detail and consider what other upgrades I'd like to do over the summer. Even the neighbor next door comes over and we hoist some of the little neighborhood kids up into the boat (sans shoes) and let 'em play "Boat Captain" for a little bit...

"Hey Tommy - be careful. Let me know when you're ready to come down off the boat.."

"Sissy - please put that bottle of vodka back in the cabin where you found it..."

Thats too bad. I have a detailing business and I go over each boat with the customer when Im done just to make sure, and so that I can have another set of eyes looking at it. I do whatever it takes to cover each surface, and every inch.

Got the deck done last night...de-oxidizer followed by polish followed by pure carnuba followed by Meguiar's Flagship premium marine wax. Had to take like three pictures before I could even keep the camera's focus from slipping off! :26:

i had to put my shades on just to look at your pic's. i know about that sliping off the deck. i almost slid off mine last night cleaning the hatch gutters. thank god for bow rails.

Simple Green. That stuff is the BOMB. I actually layed down in there and polished it up...even under the motors.
