Here is a nice video, with SpeedRacer MTI, out in the ocean. I really like the video, but they should get rid of the music and have roaring engine noise! I really wish I was the one driving the boat!

Didn't we decide on another thread that the boat in the video wasn't the real Speed Racer but a copy of the original? I remember a thread covering this once already but can't remember the specifics.

Can anyone bring us up to date on the details again?

That is a vinyl sticker copy of the original SpeedRacer.

The REAL SpeedRacer now hangs out in Tom's River NJ at Typhoon Service, it's a 5 seater with updated gauges and GPS's and a pair of Ron Potter motors.

Is that the poker run SR? I saw it at the MTI booth at Miami and it had a four place cockpit and Sterling 1550s.

SR has and always will be my favorite theme boat. The others are great too.

My Fountain is only 3' shorter because of the swim platform. By looking at the transom shots SR must be, what..... really only a 34' boat.
