First, congrats on teh site. Looking forward to lurking around like the old times.

Second, it took me years to accummulate my palty post count. Can someone hack the system and increase my number? Kind of like whne I order new checks and they ask what number to start with.

Third, does OSO have any recourse on this site? BAsically, I hope that when the original owners of OSO sold to the infidels, he/they are not bound by something that could put this site in a legal bind.

Fourth, since Sunkin has been elevated to "Almighty God" status, I will keep my political views to a minimum, except for the ones he would agree with.

My position on OSO is this...

I BEGGED them to get their act together- in posts and in individual contact. I sent hundreds of PM's to members over a span of months asking them to give IB a shot. To take it in stride and let a big, professional company show us how they can make the site better. But they didn't.

No one here bears them any malice whatsoever. This really isn't any different than the local hamburger joint sliding downhill and one of their better customers opening one nearby to satisfy the local demand for a quality burger.

We are not now, nor will we actively solicit people from OSO (or any other site), nor will we ever suggest anyone not visit there. I told only people I was close with and then they told people they were close to, and so on. If we never get another member, that's OK by me. But hopefully people that can make this a better place, that can provide us with interesting content, will continue to show up and contribute.

Steve's only contribution here was to allow us to use his tagline- "For the love of the sport". I don't know the specifics on his sales agreement with IB but that would have no bearing on us. We weren't involved in any way.

Lastly, your political viewpoints, regardless of what they are, are absolutely welcome here. As are any others you may have. The rules are simple and clear- polite, respectful, factual. Beyond that, virtually nothing is off-limits. Nonetheless, what I think individually doesn't really matter. All those decisions are made by a Board.
