Serious Security Forces...

That's what contracting pays. Two guys per boat would be all you'd need. Chump change considering what the ship and cargo value is.

I want a .500 sniper gun though.

A .50 BMG is more of an anit material cartrige, used to disable vehicles and larger targets at long ranges. Something like a .338 Lapua, or.408 Cheytac is a little more of a precission anti personnel (human target) caliber.

Either way if something gets hit by a BMG, its bound to be FUBAR.

Isn't that a .500 in the clip the sniper's shooting?

Looks like a Barrett 82A1 Hollywoodized.

Heres a few pics of the steel core of a .50 BMG round in different stages of emerging from the jacket. The core is some hard MoFo steel. It takes damn near a full "shot":sifone: of powder to move one of theese things.

Yeah, it's a Barrett.

We were shooting an M2 at the range one day and this PITA bird colonel pulls his "surprise review" He goes on to ask one of my teammates about the ROE on a 50. My pal says "anti-materiel, sir" . The Col. asks "What kind of materiel?" to which he answers "Tanks, jeeps and such, sir" Col. PITA asks "Anything else?" to which he returns, "well, sir, helicopters, canteens, beltbuckles..." The colonel got back in his mount and left.
