What's your morning routine?

Alarm goes off at 6am
Begg for sex (9 times out of 10 = no sex)
Go back to sleep
Wife wakes me up at 7:15 on her way out the door
Get up take shower, eat "some thing"
Leave the house about 8-8:15
Sign says work starts at 8
I am the first one there at 8:15-8:30
phuck off till 5 and go home

Liar!! 10 out of 10, hand in shower!!!:26:

I've been laughing my azz off reading these...which is what I needed after an exceptionally crappy 14 hour day. I guess I owe mine:

Alarm goes off around 7:20, at which point wife has already showered and let the dogs out, none of which I have heard. (The dogs don't sleep in our room anymore, since you can measure their snoring on the richter scale....especially the 180 lb. one.)

Snooze until around 8:00 - 8:15. Throw on some ratty sweats or shorts. (I work from home, and shower before bed on weeknights). Stumble downstairs, pour coffee. Check e-mail and voice mail for burning issues.

Wife leaves around 8:30 for work with our son in tow, since they are both going to the same pre-school. I take our daughter to school about 10 minutes later, then really start my day's hell in the office.

At least one day a week I go into NYC to see my account, which totally changes the above. On those days, I'm out the door by 6:00 am...not in ratty sweats or shorts. I guess my 5 -6 hours of commuting on that one day a week makes up for the zero commute on the other 4 days.

5:30 alarm -I can usually beat it by a couple minutes. I hate that damned sound.
oatmeal and oj in front of the computer-check out the five forums I am addicted to, and some of the ones I just frequent.
leave by six, it's an hour drive to work.
seven, fire up the laptop at work, check the five forums I keep up with, and a few of the others.
work for about 45 minutes, then check the five forums I keep up with, and a few of the others.
repeat till time to go home.

Alarm set for 7:45. Dog wakes me up at 6:50(same phuncking time every freaking day chit you not) let her out go back to bed,dog barks at 6:55 let her back in and go back to sleep.alarm goes off and hit snooze till 8:20.Get in shower, shave brush teeth get dressed leave house at 8:50 and walk in to work at 9:00.. Check email then OSO( SO is blocked at work. Load up my eleads.Make some calls send some emails...Take pics until about 2 then back home for lunch, play with dog then back top work.Make it home between 7:10 and 7:30... Take chit listen to the wifes day....... log on to SO.

Wife is out the door for a walk with the dog at 5 and is out the door for work, well Who really knows I don't hear chit.

Wow thanks for making me realize I do the same boring thing everyday all winter:leaving:

Tomorrow morning as I make our breakfast and drink my tea I will be thankful for the great life I have.

My wife snoozes for about 20 minutes. It makes me crazy. I get up check emails and cook breakfast while she puts on her face and dresses up all nice. I schedule my first call after rush hour. I hate traffic. Sometimes I only commute to my drive shop or the drive way.

I guess I got it good.

I know I do.

My dog jumps out of the bed and stands in his crate EVERY morning at 8am.
Feed him.
Back to bed.
830 I get up and take more pills than your grandma.
850 I roll to the gym.
1 hour of cardio then home.
Quick health shake. Check emails, SO and others...
Call office for any issues.
Lunch at the local Gents Est. :)
Then the office for as few mins as possible, usually less than 10.
Showings, contracts, follow-up, etc.
Back home before traffic. More emails, follow-up, SO, etc.
Back to gym for weights at 5.
Home at 7, shower, feed dog, etc.
Off to local bar/rest for dinner, then... probably home to prep next days client needs.

Pretty much the same 7 days a week, unless clients have specials time constraints and all bets are off.

Hmm, guess that was more than my morning routine.

My life sucks I think.

Damn...eveybody sleeps in!

Normal day...alarm goes off at 4:44 (I just like that number)...usually I'm out of bed before the song on the clock radio has played three notes. Clean cat litter box, eat 2 or 3 bowls of cereal (NOTHING healthy...I loves me some Cocoa Pebbles). Leave for work at 5:20, open up the shop about 5:35, check emails, OSO, SOS, and my favorite blog, Drunkcyclist.com.

Biking day...alarm goes off at 4:20 (I just like that number)...same routine, except I leave at about 4:50 to get a good 20+ mile ride in...follow it up after work with 30 or 40 miles.

Running day...alarm goes off at 4:00 (I really don't like this number), meet my bud at the local high school for a 4 or 5 miler, then hit work, eat breakfast there, and start my day.

And yes, some people think I may not be all right in the head.

Finally somebody similar, Wake up at 4:30, let the dogs out, 2 protein bars and a bottle of water, change to work out clothes, to the gym by 5:30. Finish workout around 6:45, back home shower and into work before 8.

Forget the caffeine, watch out for the sugar in Mountain Dew. In a 20 oz bottle there is 80 sugar packs (like at a diner) in ONE bottle. I was good for 2-3 bottles a day but got spooked at the dentist when a new hygenist asked how much bottled soda I drink. When I inquired why she mentioned my two front teeth were loosing the enamel. She knew it was from a lot of bottled soda since it affects those two teeth the most. Red Mountain Dew was my favorite, I even knew what stores in the area stocked it vs. just green.

I have slowed to a soda a day but cannot buy it for the house (a two liter bottle wouldn't last a day, a 12 pack usually wouldn't last two days). It sucks to quit but that amount of sugar isn't good for anything........

im with you on that one. i was doing four to five bottles of mountain dew. two weeks ago i have been down to two. i also wount buy it for home but i think im going to because its cheaper then to keep buying two 20 oz bottles.

Dogs wake us up at 5:30-5:40, wife usually takes them out and then hits the shower. I roll out at 6:00 and walk for 1/2 hour with one of the dogs. Then into the shower, cup of coffee and out by 7:10-7:20. Hit work at 7:45 or so, fire up all the computers and then surf all day :D

Confession Time: After months of basically ignoring OSO, I now check one thread daily. GLH is redo-ing the Drambuie raceboat. Make sure you follow this thread. So, i now finish my routine by checking that thread, then getting to work.

It depends if I'm at my condo or working from Tony's house.

Condo: set alarm for 7:30
Roll out of bed by 7:40
Shower, breakfast, contacts in, SO and Island pirates, brush teeth
Out the door and to work by 8:45 or 9ish.

Tony:
Get woken up at 5:30 when his alarm goes off.
***** at him for the next 45 minutes as he hits snooze and won't get out of bed.
Go back to sleep when he finally gets up
Get up around 8.
Check SO, Island pirates and comics
Fix breakfast, shower and log in to my work network

I forgot , I also log on to sos and delete inappropriate posts that I posted while intoxicated:sifone:

I'm a residential hvac contractor......I get up around 8:30 or 9......(I work from home).....feed cat and put on coffee for Susi.....she works from home too and I don't drink coffee......make some breakfast, shower......check emails, check various sites I like......I only work locally, at my first call by 10.......sometimes I don't have a first call at 10....could be noon or 2pm.....in that case I may go eff around in the garage or talk to the neighbours.....

I take calls 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week in the winter......5 days a week in the summer (air conditioning is not considered an emergency)......sometimes if I'm away in the winter I cant help you, in that case I'll have you call another contractor (a friend, we cover for each other) regular scheduled calls are between 10 and 7pm......after 7 its time and a half......after midnight is only in the winter $130 for the first half hr, $100/hr after that plus parts......sure call me after midnight, I'll come out no $$$ prob

I get up at 6:30 to take over babie duties so my wife can finish getting ready for work. I give my daughter some breakfast and milk and then we watch the end of dragon tales and Sesame Street while I finish brushing her teeth and putting her shoes on. Then we play for a little bit and about 7:20 I get her jacket on so mommy can run out the door with her and drop her off at daycare so she can be at work at 8 am.

Then I watch the news for a little bit and usually check out "Drive Thru" on Fuel TV and drop the cosby kids off at the pool, shave and get into the shower by 7:45 am (Triple - S"). Get out of the shower and iron my shirt and pants for the day and head off to work by 8:10 stopping at D&D for a coffee and a bagel and get to work by 8:30.

Once I get to work I check emails to see if there's anything urgent I need to do. Take care of the loose ends and the direction for my team... Once the team is working I usually check SO to see if there's anything new and interesting. Then I work on the internet and computer all day searching for candidates, reviewing resumes, formatting resumes and trying to find new clients by making cold calls and cold introductions via web sites like Linked-In, Spoke etc.. It gets pretty frustrating searching on the internet for new clients and consultants all day long so I take frequent pit-stops on SO to clear my head and re-focus! I eat lunch at my desk while I work.

Usually wrap up work about 6pm and head home getting in the door by 6:30. When I get home my wife is home from work and is usually feeding herself and the baby dinner. I play with her for about 30 minutes before she has to take a bath and she goes to bed by 7pm. If there's left overs from dinner I fix myself a plate, if not I make myself some dinner.

After 7pm I work around the house, on the boat, work out or do some more company work on the laptop and of course check SO while my wife heads out to the gym...

I'm in bed by 10 pm except for Wednesday nights which is poker night! :sifone:
