Has anyone seen pics of the 3 new models they were to introduce back at the Miami show? ------ SL52,SL44,SL36

just the picks from the show, with new models you would think they would have something on the website...there would be piks floating around and reports on how they ran... the silence seems kind of strange

There was a thread on the SL36 and Stecz was handling the info/getting pics........ I guess he is in the basement still masterbating over pics of the "fatboy" Cigarette.......

he has been noticably missing lately...one can only wonder what maniacal plan he is busy working on....

-Spoke with Gary at the OL factory last week. They're keeping busy!

Positive thoughts guys, it's tough out there for everyone.

They have some of the coolest boats out there but their dealer network isn't great.

The 41SL is a great looking boat and if the new boats look like that they should have a few new winners on their hands. They have introduced more new boats in the last 10 years than almost any other boat company out there.

my thought on the tough out there.... posting pics, and new model specs and performance data, costs an hour on the computer, yet would reach a majority of their target audience. your not going to sell somethingif you hide it in the back of the shop......

They have only built a 52SL that was sold to over seas I believe. They havnt built a 44 or 36 yet. Dont worry when they do build them they will be head turners for sure!!

The 42SL got its ass handed to it by a boat that was 2500lbs heavier(Laveycraft 39EVO).

What problems have you had with their dealers? Just curious since there are so few.

Not any problem except they only have LCM as a dealer........ Makes it tough to sell product if you only dealer is in Kentucky. Dealers can help with trades/service so if you don't have a decent dealer network you might find it tough to sell your 24 boats a year......

Gotcha. I thought there were one or two other OL dealers as well, but I guess they've trimmed it to one. They are pretty much a direct purchase builder anyway.

Pretty sure it's a 41, not 42.

Rumor has it the Superleggra was turning 6200 rpms on Merc 700's.

Saw it run at the NYC Poker run last year and heard it was one of the first boats to the bridge....not bad for stock 700's ....runs 110+ with the right set up from what I'm told.

One question, why do they keep changing their models and lenghts???? I could see changing bottoms and designs but why is every new design a new model? Chevy, Ford, Toyota and most of the other mainstream manufacturers change the designs of their cars but rarely release new models. Every year or two there seems to be a new model which basically eliminates the one before. they had a 37' stilletto, 37' GTX, 39' ?, 41', 42' Legacy, 42 GTX, 43',, 44SL, 46', 47', 47' GTX, 51, 53SL...I'm sure I left out a few.

Don't get me wrong, I love their boats but why not stick with similar model names and lengths like the legacy's and GTX's why all these other lengths and model names? if you buy a boat two years later it's obsolete.

just my thoughts...don't mean to pee in any wheaties.

39 Hustler was right there with it
