Very, very nice. What was the first movie watched in the new room?
IRON MAN

Comfort decoration video obviously very important.

But...dont even build a theatre if you dont strive to get the best sound possible.

WOOFER makes the whole experience....UNREAL!!!

That came out nice. Great job!

This is one that Air Time and I put together over the last few months. The screen is 2.35 to 1 instead of 16x9 and is curved and motorized to change shape.

155" wide on the screen. It is a Stewart Cinicurve Screen with a Runco VX44 projector with Auto Scope Lens. We had to turn the projector brightness way down so that the image did not blind you.

Looks like you have grey walls? If that is the case then you made a very good (best) choice. Grey is the most nutral color and is the color that all the screening/editing rooms are.

If you have a dedicated theater room with no outside light or if your room has controlled lighting you want to go with a projector for the size and the "Theater Experience".
The technology in projectors has advanced so much that the picture is amazing, very sharp with natural vibrant colors.
The specific projector that catastrophe is talking about is said to be one of sonys finest.
If your not looking for the big screen experience for your movies or sport events then go with a plasma or LCD.

IMHO lcd/plasma is for watching everyday TV, projection is for movies and sporting events.

AH....Thank you for the layman's explanation. :)

It was nice. Open check book theater. The customer asked me why I did not sell him the most expensive projector and I told him it was 250K and he was like so what you should have told me about it. The real reason is that it would not have fit. :D We had to open up the side of the house, cut a hole in the back wall of the theater, remove framing on the deck and reframe it, move 20 tubes for the radiant heat..... It was quite a project just to get the projector in that we had. The wood work guy did amazing work in there. The cost was staggering but the work is imaculate. Airtimes rugs aint bad either :sifone::sifone: He can tell you more about those.

please tell me you did not use the word fabulous, I will have to talk to sunkin, you might be out, fug, even stecz doesn't use that word:(

what are you talkin about?

Stecz pm'd once and said he just bought a pair of tight jeans and he looked FAB in them

I never know what I am talking about , especially after 8 pm on a weekend ! theater looks great !

Both rooms are incredible, (not fabulous, I don't care how Stecz looks in his new jeans).

On Big TV's, has anyone done anything with the new LED's?

Thats friggin insane!

*side note: when watching football, you must feel like your going to get ran over...

and watching everyday porn must turn a hot chick into the attack of the 50 foot woman...
