The best song ever?

LOL!!!!.........Harrisons Marina........ more like

Lyrics for: "That Smell"

Lynyrd Skynyrd

Whiskey bottles and brand new cars
Oak tree you're in my way
There's too much coke and too much smoke
Look what's going on inside you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Angel of darkness is upon you
Stuck a needle in your arm
So take another toke, have a blow for your nose
One more drink fool, will drown you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Now they call you Prince Charming
Can't speak a word when you're full of 'ludes
Say you'll be all right come tomorrow
But tomorrow might not be here for you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Hey, you're a fool you
Stick them needles in your arm
I know I been there before

One little problem that confronts you
Got a monkey on your back
Just one more fix, Lord might do the trick
One hell of a price for you to get your kicks
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Must have been when I was there:26::26:

Years and years ago.....after hard rains and street flooding in Toledo which caused the raw sewage overflow from the treatment plant....., we would sit on the boats at the docks and watch the turd races in and out of Harrisons!!!

Was that where the river caught on fire?

Even though its not a catchy tune.... I live by the lyrics of Blake Shelton "The more I drink"

To pic an all time fav is impossible for me. I may be able to do it by 80's, 90's 2000+

80's- Damage INC-Metallica
90's One - Metallica
2000+ Opiate- Tool

Spinal Tap Big Bottom.........I resemble that remark!!!!!!!

"I met her on Monday......That was my lucky bum day!"

lmaorof!

Well all those Females you´ve posted... I give credit but there´s one female voice over them all.
Alison Moyet.
Not the Best song IMO but living my teen years in the mid 80´s and late teens in the end the New Age/ Electronic has a place.

There´s so much good songs, depending on the occasion it can be; Pink Floyds Comfortably Numb, Another Brick in the wall, White Lions When the Children cry, Metallicas version of Turn the Page or Alphavilles Forever Young
Phil Collins Another day and let´s put some Miami vice in too...In The air tonight..
Yes seems I´m a bit on the melancholy ballad side...

Let us include Deep Purples When a Blind Man cries and Led Zep´s Stairway to heaven

In fact when I heard while working as a DJ a good friend since age 5 had died in a motorcycle accident at age 19 I put this last song on the table and called the evening quits.

All these songs mean a lot to me and brings memories I can relate to.
