Swimming pool has a leak, any ideas....

those up here in the real world have our pools outside and they are all frozen this time of year. LOL

my pool is inside my house also so I feel your pain. take a plastic bottle with a small opening like a mustard bottle , & fill it with water & food coloring. swim around the edges with snorkel gear & squeeze the dye out while looking for the dye to go into the cracks. if there is a leak the dye will be seen going into the crack. with the pump off squeeze some dye into the drain & all your jets & returns & look for water flow. If this doesn't work a good pool guy will have a camera he can snake through your pipes & find the leak. good luck & post a pic.

Once you find it...the fix is simple, you just nice a mexican or cuban kid 5 bucks and a snorkle and tell him to put his finger in the hole. should begood for at least 6 months. (though you might want to walk by and drop a french frie or two down the snorkle every once and a while)

I'm guessing that you have a leak in the plumbing. Check your inlet and outlet pipes.
