what penalty? guess I missed that..And the penalty was imposed immediately
the overhead shot replay clearly showed what is stated above... JR did, in fact, intentionally ram the outside left rear corner of Vicker's, causing the wreck... at least that's what the overhead replay camera showed, as did JR's in-car camera... I believe the camera also shows Vicker's came down way in front of JR, ahead of time, and not restricting, or blocking JR in any way.... JR just flat didn't like that he whipped out and had no where to go but below the line... it could be said that JR did, in fact, advance his position as a result of the wreck that he intentionally caused due to his impatience.. that is what the OVERHEAD camera clearly showed on the replay... the front camera makes it appear as was stated elsewhere in another reply... not looking for a fight here, but that's what I saw, and what was RECORDED..Yes the car in front of the other can pick and choose his line, he does not have to wait to be passed and blocking is apart of Nascar racing especially at Plate races. No one ran Jr. below the line he over corrected and did it too himself.
His obvious lack of control and/or patience led to the wreck plain and simple...he had ample time to pull back up in line once he made his exaggerated move below the double yellow line and fall behind Vickers.
I and countless thousands agree he got pissed off when Vickers blocked him and then he made a bad move and decided to run into him, not once to show he didn't like the move but twice which ultimately caused the big wreck...
