It is a boat that we brought back from the dead. It took three years.

It has our complete engine, FNR offset transmission, 6-speed multi-speed, surface drive combination. We marinized the LS7 Vette motor, made the exhaust, cockpit design......

In the Feb issue (Powerboat) it is the Hot Shot boat (sunset at the salton sea)

I stopped by yesterday and checked it out. Wild ride and wild setup. Pat I was hoping to catch up with you or some of your guys (I've had my hands up the back side of enough of your formula ford boxes that I figured I should at least say hi), but didn't see anyone around when I swung by. All the Popra stuff looked great though. Is Vern not running the big Platinum anymore or is it just down for a referesh?

Auberlin's (Xdrive) Spectre was INSANE too... I was blown away by the Motec total boat managment system (my term, don't know what they call it). The boat is a freaking spaceship.

The LaveyEvo 39 was stunning and the Nordic 21 ski boat with the Merc 1200 and the six was also one of the most wicked boat's I've seen.

Talked to Paul Pfaff for a bit which is always a pleasure. Paul's one of the really nice guys in performance boating.

If it was Saturday I was testing at the shop (see photo) Sun to Wed at Skater, work Thurs Friday, back to show on Sat-Sun moved out boat Mon testing at Havasu with truck in pic back to work today.

It is busy this time of year.:26:

Vern is upping the power scared that we will blow him away in P1 at Havasu on April 26. We shall see what wins...brute force or efficiency. :boxing_smiley:
