Did we lose another retail dealer?

My father drives Gandy Blvd. to and from Tampa each day. He said the Gandy Boat Sales business had all teh new boats moved out of the yard. Did they relaocate or are they done?

Always had some killer set-ups waiting for sale.

They are not done! It is a relocation.

I talked to the owner today and he is moving the business over to John's Pass right by Gator's. This will be a more visible location for him right on the water.

Maybe in the old Hi n Dry building?

He also mentioned thunder Marine moved to a smaller location on Tyrone Blvd. Everyone is trying to stay alive

I have the same drive, and I was also wondering what is going on; strange seeing the emptiness.

Many years ago, it was a used boat lot. My father traded his boat in and it sat there forever. Thought about offering a silly, low-ball price to get it back and repower. It was a late 80's Scarab Raider. Could've dropped some sick outboard on it and had a sweet ride. Didn't have the money back then.

Wonder what happened to all that inventory once the recent owner brought the new boat dealership in.

Yeah, Thunder already moved. They went into a lot that was another dealer that folded about a year ago by Hooter's. Last I heard they were even looking to change their name too.
