It's the statement he put on his website. He appologised for the accident, and promised it would never happen again. That doesn't sound like a accident.
He puts himself out there as a squeaky clean spokesman, and gets paid millions to do it, so he brought a lot of the Tiger watchers out that were just waiting for him to slip up.

    I agree but...

I'm not big on celebrity stuff either but I see it this way... the way the media is portraying it is there was a domestic disturbance and the wife attacked him a "did damage" to the truck. although it was early morning, others could have been affected, like IF he hit another car. they as a couple need to pull up their big kid pants and address it. IF she did hit him with a club, and he is covering for her, put the shoe on the other foot if he laid a finger on her, it would be a public lynching If that was the case I applaud him for trying to get away and not become a statistic. when domestic violence runs into the streets it becomes a public issue, regardless of whom you are.

I just heard Phil Mickelson called Tiger's wife looking for some tips on how to beat him.

Yeah, apparently the police asked Tiger's wife how many times she hit him. She said "I don't know exactly… but put me down for a 5."

So when asked where he was going at 2:30 in the morning, Tiger replied "out clubbing".

why does all of america care what tiger was doing when/ before he wrecked. he wrecked, no one but him got hurt, no kids died, leave it be. and why if you were in a position like him would you risk divorce and losing half or more of your money. tell her to hit bricks, then go bang whoever you want. duh.

Long shot.....he didn't "promote" the story the Enquirer/Star did. He denied it just like the girl did. Hard to pin the blame on another victim.....
