All of the founding fathers and all the great and not so great men that have come before him are spinning in their graves right now. We are witnessing the take over of our government by the Britney/Lindsay/Miley generation...:(

WASHINGTON – Hey, kids, don't try this at home. Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk on Friday took a brief ride at the White House as part of a Father's Day celebration.

Hawk, 41, skated in the grand foyer and the nearby Old Executive Office Building, with the permission of White House officials.

The skateboarding icon, also known for his popular brand of skateboarding video games, posted photos to his Web site and Twitter page.

One photo shows Hawk on his skateboard with his hands in the air in what appears to be a hallway.

"...and here is my exit," he wrote in a message on Twitter, which linked to a picture of him skating. "Supposed to return at noon for the First Fathers event if they let me back in."

Hawk posted other insights from his Washington visit on his Twitter page, telling fans about eating Frosted Flakes cereal inside the gates of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. In another tweet, he says "back at White House, Tweeting live from the Diplomatic Room. Unbelievable."

Hawk joined other dads, athletes and celebrities at a Father's Day forum hosted by President Barack Obama. Celebrity chef Bobby Flay helped man the barbecue grills for a White House picnic for the attendees, which included NBA players Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and Etan Thomas of the Washington Wizards.

"The Prez addressing all of us fathers before we split up to visit DC charities," Hawk tweeted. "D Wade & Etan T make me feel short."

As Bill Maher said " I don't want a TV star as president, I want a leader". Oh well, I guess just another Affirmitive Action failure.....

Bill Maher said that??? WOW! I though he was an ultra liberal.

I guess he just makes fun of whom ever is in power. Kinda like Jon Stewart of the Daily Show. :p

I wonder if six-flags has been contacted to build roller coasters on the national Mall?

Well, he said that from a different perspective. He feels that O is not getting enough lib stuff done quickly enough. His reasoning is that if O can't get the socialization of America done now, then it will never happen. Of course he is just an inflammatory entertainer who really doesn't understand that Utopian Socialism is impossible. I suppose he could find out the hard cold facts of life is he decides to run for office and win, ala Al Franken. I am almost looking forward to the day when old Stuart Smiley is called out by some lib because he has realized how the real world works and can't vote for some lib bill. Sort of like how O has pulled back on that whole "bring the troops home" thing that he was so hot on-reality bites.

Anyone needing tickets to the new Obama Waterama, just PM Craig, he has an in ;) After filling out a simple 50 page application we can have those out to you in time for 2010 when the new Pelosi Horror Palace opens in the basement of the Capitol.

I don't get it... Whats wrong with having Tony Hawk at the white house? He is 41 years old. What does that have to do with Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan or Brittany Spears? So he skateboards - big deal. Is that different from what Shaq does when it comes down to it? Frankly - if you were in the White House as President, who would you rather hang out with on Father's Day Sunday - a bunch of professional athletes and entertainers or members of Congress? For that matter would you rather him hang out with lobbyists?

Don't get me wrong - I don't like his politics, but I don't see what is wrong with hanging out with cool people on Father's Day.

Remember kids... its Bobcat/Phragle in 2012. If you think the airforce one stunt was cool, just wait untill we hit the poker run scene in Navy One. JBS, Aquamania, Gieco... they have nothing on the Navy's new 70' twin nuclear reactor powered Mystic! Manatee zones... history!! And to stimulate the economy, all new offshore boats 30' and over (cats and vee's) will be fully tax deductable. If Reggie will promise to eliminate the beak, we will give him a contact for 35' fast patrol boats to facilitate somali pirate hunting.

I'm running for emperor, though as it was pointed out by Fund Razor, an emperor doesn't run for office, he seizes power, but that would make me the president of Iran if I'm not mistaken.

He never ran the country, the oil companies run that country, and if he keeps threatening to cut off the oil, someone from his own country will off him. We can go a lot longer without oil, than they can withoiut wheat. They can't eat sand, or drink oil.

I trhink you're wrong there. Since Obama has taken over, our trade with Iran has increased tremendously......

I'm starting to think, "Once a Muslim, always a Muslim".

It has NOTHING to do with who he wants to hang out with. It has everything to do with respecting the country and the PEOPLE'S house. We loan that house to whoever wins the election, but it doesn't mean they can PUBLICALLY do whatever they want with it. Now I know that virtually everyone that has ever worked there has banged someone in there somewhere, but it was private. By allowing this overaged skate rat to "board" in the Grand Foyer of the White House you disrespect everything that house represents. Hell, Ronald Reagan wouldn't even sit in the Oval Office in his shirt sleeves. But O has never respected this country or anything it stands for so I guess no one should be surprised.

At least his wife was proud of it once......:ack2: :boxing_smiley: :ack2:

Should have bought myself an ambassadorship......

Friggin tool.....:boxing_smiley:

This now brings the list of Obama bundlers who've gotten ambassadorships to 12 (about 30% of all named).

Here's the list in full:
-- Donald Gips (South Africa): More than $500,000
-- Nicole Avant (Bahamas): More than $500,000
-- Charles Rivkin (France): More than $500,000
-- John Roos (Japan): More than $500,000
-- Donald Sternoff Beyer Jr. (Switzerland and Liechtenstein): More than $500,000
-- Howard W. Gutman (Belgium): More than $500,000
-- Matthew Barzun (Sweden): More than $500,000
-- Louis Susman (U.K./Northern Ireland): Between $100,000 and $200,000
-- Laurie Susan Fulton (Denmark): Between $100,000 and $200,000
-- Vinai K. Thummalapally (Belize): Between $100,000 and $200,000
-- David Jacobson (Canada): Between $50,000 and $100,000
-- Samuel L. Kaplan (Morocco): Between $100,000 and $200,000

Didn't you love it when Joe buddy said they guessed wrong.....:ack2:

Before passage of the stimulus bill, the Obama administration had predicted that unemployment would peak at 8 percent before beginning to abate this fall. But unemployment has already reached 9.4 percent, the highest level in a quarter-century, and the situation is not projected to start improving until long after the White House had predicted.

I like tony Hawk just fine. As a matter of fact, I had one of his boards when I was a kid, so I'm cool with him.
But riding in the White House is simply disgraceful, and insulting. It seems that all manner of propriety is being thrown out the window with this administration.
