Windows backup won't backup iTunes?

I'm trying to back up my laptop. When I run Windows backup, it won't backup my iTunes folder. It just stops. Anyone else run into this problem?

I noticed that iTunes won't let you backup unless it's to a CD. I googled it and all I come up with is to copy the folder to something else (i.e. external HD) to back up. I think that's ridiculous.


what does everybody else do to back up? My laptop has been acting flakey and I want to make sure everything is backed up.

Me too, I just move files to an external drive. I don't trust MS Backup at all.

That's what I did. I'm reformating now... I just wanted a .bak file to shrink the size so I wasn't storing over 10 GBs

I believe for a little fee apple/iTunes will back up your files, at least I thought I've read that somewhere

Best thing to do is simply copy and paste it externally. Whether it's an apple itunes file or an MP3, it's already compressed about as much as you possibly can. Not worth messing around with windows, just copy and paste.
