Who's done and who's not??

Hit the water this weekend. Felt great to take the old girl to her summer home and let her turn her wheels. Though I was wearing a cap and ski goggles I can't think of too many things I would rather have rather been doing (regardless of the weather).

Good for you!!! I'm jealous.

We painted the gimbal ring last night so that will ship back to TNT tomorrow or Thursday.

Also painted the blower boxes and one engine hatch. One more hatch to fill/sand/paint then we can put the paint away. That will be done by Friday.

Painted gimbal ring gets shipped back to TNT today, finished painting both hatches and blower boxes, so all of the painting is done.

Get to take all the plastic off the boat today, start working on getting the wood replaced for the sunpads and get those put back together.

I think this weekend I will be able to get in the cabin and start cleaning it.

Once the gimbal ring is back, we put that on and get the motor back in, rig it and then fire up the motors to make sure everything is done correctly.

We're getting close, but I have a feeling it'll be the weekend after Memorial Day before we're in. We still have to clean and wax the boat and that will take a few days when you can only work on it in the evenings.

I lost about 30 days to a parts supplier, so I am looking at maybe mid June now. I figure first week of July with de-bugging and shakedowns.

I'll bet that I am staying around home the first few rides while I break em in and build some confidence in the result.

That's what the rest of us are here for! Nothing better than watching 12 guys looking into an engine compartment trying to figure things out. :ack2:
