Is this material a 1' thick material that is like a panel, but the inside is a Honeycomb design?
I'm looking for something to make a lightweight yet strong hatch for the Active Thunder.

Gordo the inside is not a honeycomb design and is like a panel . Gordo , you can make a very strong and light hatch using foam or balsa , that is vacume bagged and if you have ever lifted a Skater hatch you would have an idea of just how light they really can be made.

Try Advanced plastics. They have about everything you can think of. I know they carry Nidacore, Coosa, and Divyncell. They are good to deal with too. Shipping may get pricey though because all of their locations are midwest and south.

Jim MOBILEMERMAN , in are conversation the other day i forgot to mention these guys that handle Coosa that might be a good choice considering your location .

That is a magor problem considering that he lives in Washington State , the shipping charges will eat is wallet up .

If u order from FGS they will have it shipped from the factory , maybe close to Washington ,????? The shipping is actually not that bad....asking them wount cost anything !!!!!!!! :cheers2:
