350 engine, auto trans 75k miles. "Good" condition. Late 70's early 80's are not the most desirable, but I might be able to pick it up cheap. Needs a little work and the guy is sick of it. Thinking of turning it for a profit.
'74 - '77 are the least desirable, IMO. '78 - '82 are not much better. The '80 L-82 would be the most desirable out of that timeframe, IMO. None of them are worth much. In '86 I was dealing on a '79 L-82 with about 50K miles on it for right around $9K. They defintely have not gone up in value from then!
I would think 5k for one in "good cond" would be all the money, 7 or 8 for verry good. Older vetts have brake caliper leaks, radiator leaks, and rear wheel bearings are a bich to replace. Color is important too.
The L-82 was the higher HP version of the anemic 350 offered that year. There should be an emblem on each side of the hood indicating if it is an L-82. I believe it was '80 when they moved the emblem to the front fenders by the doors.

No chance.....If I remember correctly they made a ton of those pace cars (like thousands) and it was essentially a sticker kit on top of a two tone paint scheme. I believe the 94 was the rarest pace car production run and they only came in purple/white and as convertibles. In 86 EVERY convertible was considered a pace car edition and they made thousands of those too!
No car ever became collectible due to a sticker kit.........it usually took low production numbers and higher performance to make it "collectible."
