My Son is on the computer this afternoon and surfing some sites. He comes across a thread that he is following and one of the posters comes up with a sign that says your IP is this. Your browser is this and you are on a this brand of computer....And he was running on a network. WHAT is up with that and I am in trouble?
Thanks as always.

PM Ted and Old School. There is a lot of things a decent systems guy can do with reverse look-up. It is no secret. You are always being monitored from your IP. Hit some porn sites (on purpose or accident) and you will see where they have girls in your area looking to meet you....:)

And there is no trouble if you are using decent software to keep your system clean plus your carrier uses a decent firewall in addition to yours.

There are others on here who know a lot more than me about it though.

Almost every forum I am on (cbrforum, twinturbo.net, dieselgarage, rx7club.com, etc....) has a couple "cool" guys that have **** like that in their sigline.

The only thing it does is point out who on the sites are still virgins.....

run Malwarebytes.org - He may have been infected with one of those trojans that's been floatin around lately - I've had 4 or 5 PC's at work get hit..... pain in the a$$ to get rid of too....
